With this holiday-themed release, Paula and Dave are finally sharing “The Gift” for download, which is the first track the couple ever released– before Venamoris was revealed as a full-on project. It is a perfect combination of haunting and festive. This comes alongside a bonus track, “Holiday Spell”: intimate with an air of mystery, made up of vaguely dark chords one wouldn’t expect in a “Christmas song” while maintaining a more traditional feel. Together, these songs are a perfect, soulful addition to any winter playlist.
