John Peel recorded and captured some of the best moments in music, and being a part of The Peel Sessions is one of the highest honors that can happen to a band or artist. Recording sixteen tracks, The Locust took the iconic studio by swarm in August of 2001, and the session was first broadcast the following month in September. The controlled chaos is beautiful here, allowing the listener to hear the many intricacies of this beloved outlier of a band. First pressed in 2010 by The Locust’s imprint label, Radio Surgery, it is now being shared via Three One G in a new remastered edition by Nathan Joyner (All Leather, Psychic Graveyard).
