San Diego’s The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower formed under the banner of sinewy punk and hardcore, but abandoned both genres to become something all its own. Like The Contortions before them, The Plot threw together a strangled, honking, damaged, and-above all-smart version of punk. And yet you can dance to it. As a matter of fact, you have to dance to it. See. the band demands it, lures you onto their grimy stage, pulls you from the crowd, and into the hot orgy better know as their music. Members of The Plot have since moved onto such acts including Some Girls, Ground Unicorn Horn, Soft Pack, and Crocodiles. Pressed on limited edition color vinyl.
