Microwaves release live album, proceeds go to Pittsburgh, PA Humane Animal Rescue
The majority of classic live albums were either doctored up heavily post-show, or sometimes completely recorded in a studio with canned audience noise added later. Albums like “Live At Budokan”, “Unleashed In The East”, “Alive”, “Alive II” and “Live After Death” all come to mind — and that’s not to say they’re not good, but we’re just keeping things straight for the sake of science. However, Microwaves’ latest offering, “Higher Voltage: LIVE”, is no trick on the ears and was recorded entirely live through the board at Dusk in Providence, RI with any possible blemishes and imperfections intact. We believe the spirit of this performance shines through, and still sounds powerful enough to rip your speakers a new one while giving a different experience than the original recorded versions of these songs would. By purchasing, you can also be sure that 50% of the proceeds are going to help with food and supplies for animals at Humane Animal Rescue in Pittsburgh, PA.
