Death Eyes lost its vocalist Alberto Jurado last year and in turn the world lost a force of nature, a magnetic gem of hardcore punk, and a true-blue rock ‘n’ roll animal. Two years prior to Alberto’s passing, the band released their Si La Revancha Fuera Una Opción EP on Three One G, five brief MORE…

There’s something special about a discography release. All the gems in one bag. Everything you want in a single place, ready when you are, generous to the hilt because everything truly is everything. The Festival of Dead Deer’s only LP scared the shit out of me the first time I heard it. It is a menacing record, ominous, and I’d been awake for a very long time. I was living dumb, punk-romantic, and broke-as-fuck in Portland, having left San Diego at the beginning of the year. Two months MORE…
I said I wasn’t going to leave the house during Fourth of July weekend because people lose their minds on the Fourth, but then a little black kitten showed up in our field yesterday and we needed things for him. Got to the stripmall Petsmart just after a shooting happened. The cops were putting down MORE…
